I began this project as the sole designer, conducting extensive research to evaluate the robot’s market fit in India. Collaborating closely with the engineering team at IIT Madras, I guided the design direction through insights, usability feedback, and feature recommendations under Sr. Designer. I also assisted the Sr. Designer in shaping the robot’s final form and functionality. Throughout the process, I worked with doctors, patients, engineers, the marketing team, and Meril Healthcare’s leadership to ensure the design aligned with real-world needs. The robot is now in clinical trials and expected to enter the market in the coming years.
